If I could give 10 stars, I would. Dr. Knowles and Dr. Shelton are both exceptionally compassionate to the pets and their owners. They give the best care in town. Their vet techs are also very competent and caring, as is their office staff. Their prices are very reasonable. I've been bringing my pets here since 1998. I've heard that they aren't accepting new pets (unless you're an already established client), but that doesn't surprise me - their practice is quite busy and there are only so many hours in a work day! If you are lucky enough to get an appointment, you won't ever want to change vets.

Wonderful vets and techs!! They take care of my pets exactly how I want them to; they're gentle and kind, and they actually care about my pets, like it's not just a job for them. I always wanted to have a vet's facility that treated my pets like they're part of the family, not just another animal and the staff at Neuse Vet Clinic do just that. They're AWESOME!!!

Best place in town to take your pet, hands down. The ladies behind the desk will get you in and out in a timely manner, the service is excellent. Dr.K is beyond awesome with all kinds of pets, you can rest assured he will do right by you and your pet. Prices are very resonable too. Highly recommend Neuse Vet Clinic, will not take my cat Snickers anywhere else! (mic drop)

Everyone is very professional and courteous, I've been a patient owner with this clinic for decades and they've always been wonderful whether they're fixing our cat's teeth or helping my dogs cross the rainbow bridge...Dr. Shelton and Dr. Knowles(ret.) Have been absolutely amazing for us. Thank you so much for helping us and everyone's pets y'all have helped over the years

Recently lost one of my dogs very unexpectedly. Calling the vet office to notify them never crossed by mind but around 4 days after Molly passed, I got a letter in the mail from the clinic saying how sorry they were for our loss. New Bern is a small town but the fact that they had a staff member who knew what had happened and made sure we got a card meant everything at a time I was struggling very significantly. Dr. Shelton, Kristin and Jill are always helpful and willing to deal with all of my questions.

They are great! CCHS uses them for regular visits and I'm never disappointed. Not sure if they are taking new patients at this time.

My handsome cat Snickers was having an issue that greatly concerned me. I stopped by the clinic first thing in the morning with a video of his situation. The very kind staff listened to my concern, viewed the video, and then proceeded to work him in that day. I got him there, and Dr. Sheffield saw him. This was my first experience with her. She is awesome. She knew immediately what was wrong with Snickers, and treated him. Normally he is very scared at the vet, but with her he was calm. That said a lot to me. We discussed his problem, she told me what I needed to do to get him back on track. She did not rush it, she took her time. I was concerned after Dr. Knowles retired. I am no longer concerned. Dr. Sheffield is excellent, I highly suggest coming here if your pet is in need of a great vet. The entire staff is amazing. I feel very lucky Snickers has such a wonderful vet/clinic. They are THE BEST, and the prices are very reasonable. Loves them.

Dr. Fred is great with taking time to talk to you about your pets problem. Very reasonable in price and nice staff. Sadie really enjoys going to see them
